Organic production records a constant increase in the quantity and value of products. During the last three decades, organic agriculture and organic food production have been growing year by year, both in EU countries and in the world. The EU organic market is particularly dynamic with growth rates varying from country to country.

Buyers of organic products are looking for a guarantee of food quality and safety for which they are willing to pay, so it is very important to pay attention to their market presentation. A brand is essentially what a customer thinks about or feels when they hear a name or see a product trademark.

Serbia Organica collects your data in order to regularly inform you about trade fairs, professional gatherings and B2B events.

Importers / exporters

It is estimated that over 80% of organic products produced in Serbia are intended for export. The value of exports of organic products has been recording constant growth for years, so in 2022 it reached a record amount, and since 2012, when this data first became part of the information system of the Customs Administration, the value of exports has increased about 18 times.

Financing

Incentive funds approved by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, the Provincial Secretariat for Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry, as well as a certain number of local governments are available to organic producers, and from 2024, funds for this purpose will also be available as part of the IPARD IV measure.

Labeling of domestic products

The certified domestic organic product is marked with the label: ORGANIC PRODUCT, the code of the authorized organization and the national symbol. Advertising material, accompanying documentation and labels can also be marked with this mark.
